Postpartum hair loss
Postpartum hair loss may occur with each pregnancy but there is no need to find treatment for it, as your hair will re-grow in about three to six months after it began falling. Postpartum hair loss is a temporary change in the hair growth cycle due to hormonal changes during pregnancy, as the higher hormone levels make hair follicles become overactive. After birth, the hormone levels stabilize and hair shedding might last around three months, after which the hair will restart its normal growth.
